| The combination shown at the right, consisting of the 2000 A4 WT Turntable (Order Nr. 01001) and groove milling machine with dust evacuation (Order No. 01016 + 01032) is ideal for small applications such as company print shops, archives and copy shops. This equipment allows clean operation and enormous reinforcement of the pad glue binding. Groove milling is not permissible in the 2000 series padding presses without dust evacuation, because otherwise the paper dust would get into the hot air fan, where it could ignite. |

| The 5000 series MÜRO Padding Presses and 4 x 5000 Turntables are the best suited equipment for processing large quantities of paper. In these presses and turntables, paper piles up to 50 cm (20 inches) high can be efficiently groove milled, glued, where necessary gauzed and then dried.
Groove milling on the edge of a table with a weight placed on the pile is impossible, because the pressure during groove milling is so strong that the pile would collapse. Groove milling is the only manual method of milling to strengthen pad glue bindings. A combination consisting of a groove milling machine and a 5000 series MÜRO Padding Press or 4 x 5000 Turntable represents a compromise between time consuming fan glue binding and expensive automatic binding equipment. |
